Roadtrip: To Shopping

May 29 - June 4, 2011


Left around 9am for San Francisco. Roadtrip. Starbucks. Bro’s new Nikon camera. New Romper and wore my AE jacket over. Snacks. Rest stops. Donuts. Tattoos. 10 hours. Freeezing. Jump Shots. Dinner at relatives. Hotel. Free Breakfast. Alcatraz. Pictures. Prisoners. Souvenirs. Restaurants. Tour Bus. Golden Gate Bridge. More awesome jump shots. Outlets. Shopping. Union Square. Walked alone the streets downtown, through a long ass tunnel, to get to chinatown. Ate at some lame ‘buffet’, not the best foods. Changed to my new striped hooded sweatshirt to go under my leather jacket. Bought a blue and gold casual dress. UO is too expensive. 5 hour trip to Yosemite. Stopped by a strawberry farm. House of Beef. Long crazy mind boggling winding road on top of a mountain. Rainforest. Went to Yosemite just to stop by the village store filled with stuff. Went back and that turned out to be a waste of time and $20. Moving on to Las Vegas. Hotel at night. Visited mother’s co-worker friend and her adorable little kids - Rayver and Rico, and the baby. Pictures. Hugs. Drool. 5 hr drive to Vegas. Ate at Jollibee and Chowking. Fried chicken and halo-halo. Bellagio hotel. Jump shots on bed. Walked around the city. Watched street shows. Ate at a Viet Restaurant 12 am. Great food. More walking and shopping. Rue 21 vintage-ish purse. Shape ups. H&M. Outlets. Shopped for the bros. Japanese buffet. Amazing deserts. Left around 8. Back to AZ.
Tiring trip filled with lots of spending, outlets, pictures, and food - all before my brothers’ flight back to the philippines.

Graduation

High School officially ends.

Graduation @ the University of Phoenix Stadium. Had to walk this long ass ramp with loose heels. Met up with some friends, walked the stadium, typical graduation ceremony. Pictures. Guy i had one class with and hardly talked to wanted a picture. Left early and didn’t find other friends. Saaaad. Parking lot was filled and it took forever to get out. Freshened up and time for some Graduation Party with the fambam.

6:00pm
At my uncle’s house, getting the place ready with great food, music, games, and such. Families, family friends, co-workers, kids, and teens were there.

Last days of High School

May 18 - 20, 2011
We barely even study for finals in my class.
English - we just watched The Lion King, which is an all time favorite movie of mine.
Math (2 classes) - eh, sit talk with friends
Anatomy - full on review guides and all hour studying
Then after school, talk with friends, take pictures, sign yearbooks, walk to BK and yogurtology.
May 19th - I had my Discrete Math and Anatomy finals. The test seemed pretty easy, but they were computer tests - and for some reason, i never do great on those. Guhh. I got a B in both my Math and Anatomy final - not good enough i suppose.
May 20th - English, Discrete Math Written Final, and College Algebra Final. English was pretty easy; the written for DM was ok - not the easiest but whatever; College Algebra was all sorts of things. It was easy for the most part but some were just mind boggling. We also didn’t have a lot of time to finish so we stayed 15 minutes after the bell to continue. Hmph, i was supposed to meet up with MC to sign yearbooks, KD to talk about afterschool plans, and all the other people to take pictures. What a horrible end of the day. I didn’t get to say bye to a lot of people. So depressing. Then my aunt unexpectedly picked me up, we had to drop GC off at the community college, we had to rush back home ‘cause my aunt had an appointment and so on. Oh well, at least today, i get to eat fancy dinner with my girls (cousins) for my graduation celebration.

Early Graduation Dinner @ Melting Pot with my adorable cousins. My aunt is the sweetest too.
Wore my floral skirt, beige tank, a cardigan over it, and my black pumps. Drove to RE’s house at 3:30, watched tangled, left at 5:30 to the restaurant. My aunt dropped us off and gave us a $100 gift certificate - woahh. The place was dimly lit, tables were secluded, and we were probably the youngest people ever to go in by ourselves. So anyways, ordered our food, drinks, cooked with the melting pot, ate our delicious desert/fondue, and took a lot of pictures, along with lots of laughs. Fun girls night out for my graduation. Lovelovelove.

Not a happy camper

Didn’t go to dance today because someone was being so dramatic and unreasonable. But whatever. Unexpected hike - not a happy camper; Church @ 4:30 - wore my romper, black cardigan, combat boots, and shoulder bag. Met up with my aunt after, drove to desert ridge - she invited more people to come; didn’t get to eat dinner because i was too busy shopping. Bought 3 clothes from X.I. and a lovely jacket from American Eagle. Shopping is my joy - but spending isn’t.

Kids are ridiculous. (Earlier on today)
So at 2pm, my mom asked me to drive my brother to his friend’s house - who lives in the neighborhood. She ended up driving and told me that i can just drive back home. So we got there, my brother had to wait, his friend came out, and turns out they were going to do the project now - while its a 100 degrees outside. It was a commercial project and they didn’t have anyone who would videotape it - except for me. And i had no freaking idea. So i was like, okay, its just the park. Whatever. But, the kid had it all planned out. They were going to the hiking trail past the park. And i had to come with. fuuuuuuh. It was a looooong walk, under the burning arizona sun, in a deserted hill that soon became a steep mountain. Oh and another thing, i was in my pjs and flipflops. What a perfect time, weather, place, and outfit to go hiking. I was frustrated for sure. And the kid wanted to keep going up til we actually reached the top. When we finally got out of that stupid trail, my face was severely red, my arms were burnt, and i was sweaty and gross, and my feet hurt.
My mom owes me a new phone, a shopping spree, and a car.

Senior Breakfast

Met up with my friends at the bottom of the 400/500 building after 1st hour. Went into the auditorium for the senior slideshow and a guest speaker from Cali. The senior slideshow was so sweet and funny and embarrassing. This girl messaged me on fb the other day, asking if i wanted to include senior pictures to put in the slideshow - the weird thing is that she wasn’t even my friend on fb and i really dont quite know her. But yeah, i gave her the link to my senior album and i wasn’t expecting what pictures she would put. The VERY first picture, unfortunately was of me, GC, and LK. We were shocked but started laughing embarrassed. More cute, pro, funny pictures. Then more of my pictures showed. The one from the B&B play, homecoming game, tall and short picture of me and my 6”4 friend (everyone laughed :p)  but its all good. I loved it, makes me miss high school. Then the speaker came and he was full of energy. I thought it was going to be lame and cliche but he was HILARIOUS. He shared some sad stories which got to all of us. Then the ‘breakfast’ came around 9:30. Walked to the cafeteria, saved a table, got in line, ate chick fil-a catered sandwich, with bagels, cinnamon rolls, and donuts. Our table was full! We had to steal the teachers’ chairs harhar. Then we went over to the courtyard to get our pre-ordered yearbooks! I look like a child. No joke. Signed, pictures, after school, burning hot sun. Bleh. All in all, its a good friday.

Four days with Four Brothers

School: SM’s troubles, had to walk home under the burning arizona sun. Cleaned the house, then its Daddy-o’s birthday. Food, American Idol, Charades (hella funny especially the oldies)

Skipped school, roadtrip to Cali! Left around 9 am. Coffee overload. Took the long road. Stopovers. Denny’s. Boho: romper, lace, braid, aviators, gladiators, shoulder bag. Oceanside, CA by 6:30pm. Walked to T-shirt mart. Guy tank tops, pizza. Back at the hotel, and straight to the workout room! Ate corned beef for a late ‘dinner’.

Woke up early to workout. Beach walk and pictures. Breakfast @ Ruby’s Diner, very end of the Pier. Kid looking at our odd family smiling at a timed camera. On the road to relative’s place. Ate at a Thai Resto. Bad choice of food - hard as rock bbq pork over rice. Watched Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight. Hilarious, my eardrums were temporarily inactive. Sat on a mat covered with pillows, chocolates. Tired.

Mother’s Day. Took a shower, no towel, improvised. Heavy breakfast, other relatives came, pictures, left around 9am. More breakfast at Jollibee, brothers ordered a 3-piece chicken with 2 cups of rice. I ordered Halo-Halo. Sweet guy served it himself. Back on the road, stop-overs, taco bell, creepy guy staring, funny stories. Back in AZ, ate at Kawaii around 8pm for Mother’s day. Good food. Went to sleep around 1am. Damn, school the next day.
