Kick Ass

June 9, 2010
They kicked our ass alright. I guess i could say that we got ‘kicked out’ of the movie theaters. This is the first time that that has ever happened to me, and oh my i was scared.
Basically, me and my friends have been planning to hang out before JP leaves for Tucson for a month; GC leaves for a week to maryland. we decided to hang out today at 10am and watch Kick Ass at AMC 30 since that was the only place it was showing still. I even heard that the movie was hella funny and i absolutely wanted to see it. I walked to GC’s house and met up with JP and TD. turns out, JP just woke up when we went to her house! she got ready quick and we left. We were about to pay for our tickets but they asked for an ID with the date of birth. my friends were all 17, but me and GC didn’t have an ID. we should’ve asked TD to buy all of our tickets since he had a license. darn it. so we bought a different ticket and planned to just watch kick ass. but some old lady was guarding the place and the kick ass movie room is way on the other side. we went into the bathroom first and they knew we were already so suspicious. me and GC ‘casually’ walked out and headed the other direction. we were so friggin scared that someone might have seen us so we ran quickly inside a random movie room. we left and searched for the kick ass room and just when we found it, this guy called us. we ignored the guy and frantically ran inside the room. too bad he followed us. he kindly asked for our tickets and we were dead speechless. TD said ‘oh we threw it away’ that was a good excuse but they won’t buy that. JP was buying food when all this happened and she called me that time. we just decided to leave the place. they wouldn’t even refund our tickets or even get to see our real movie. darn it. i was so nervous, ashamed, terrified, and so darn innocent. it was funny right after though. we moved on and went to arrowhead AMC and watched Date Night. we went around the mall first, bought smoothies, shopped with JP, and GC and TD bought their lunch. The movie was hilarious but there were disturbing parts. I still would’ve rather watched Kick Ass though. sad face. But all in all, it was a very exciting day. I never thought we would end up getting chased by movie theatre workers seriously.
